Awesome park with great amenities and friendly staff. We selected a site in the "forest" section, with a creek running behind the site - lovely. Sat TV was not possible, but their cable lineup was extensive. The staff member that assisted us, was excellent--guided us right in to our site and pointed out the location of all hookups. The resort is located near the paved bike paths, making access to riding very easy. It was a little cool for the pool, but did soak in the jacuzzi- it felt great. Do not follow GPS directions that will take you "left" onto Arrow Rd. from Target Rd., go right. The directions on the resort web site are perfect. We had a wonderful time, and will return.

We used Passport America; no restrictions of use for our 2 week stay - excellent. Stayed in the "red" section for satellite access. Site was level, gravel/stone, pull through, with no trees. There is red clay dirt below the gravel, be sure to wipe your feet - you don't want that in the RV. Staff was friendly, laid back since it was the off season and the campground wasn't very crowded. I can see where this would be a family favorite- pool, lake, small playground. Most sites are in a more natural setting; there are sites suitable for everything from tents to big rigs. There is no cable or wi-fi (that I'm aware of). We had a strong Verizon signal. Hookups were in good working order, the laundry was a bit pricey, $1.75. The roads in are narrow and lots of curves, but OK even for big rigs. The signs to the campground are plentiful and very helpful. We would return when back in the area.

Wonderful campground, beautiful setting with mountain vistas in every direction. The sites are gravel with grass between sites, pretty level, and hookups in good working order. There are sites for big rigs and tents, and everything in between. The campground roads are gravel, in good shape, but narrow. Big rigs are fine, but 2 vehicles cannot pass by each other. We did not use the showers or laundry, but they appeared clean. We also did not use the Wi-Fi, good Verizon signal so we used our air card. There is no cable, but there are sites that have a clear view of the sky, just not ours!! The owners and workampers are friendly and helpful. We would camp here again when in the area.

We spent 2 nights here, while visiting family in the area. We were assigned a pull through on the upper level. The site was large and fairly level. 30 amp power, but strong, water, and sewer hookups in good working order. I was able to get a sat signal for TV, also had good Verizon signal. The approach roads to the campground are a bit narrow, posted 20-30mph curves, but even a big rig can manage. The roads in the campground are gravel and narrow, but OK. It was the off-season when we were there, but it appears that this is a family oriented campground; lots of playgrounds, 2 pools, basketball, volleyball, lake--lots to keep everyone busy. There are many seasonal sites, some a bit ragged, but the campground grounds are very well maintained. There are not many "big rig" sites, but lots of sites for smaller units, pups, and tents. The shower was large, pretty clean, but old. Could use some updating, and a bench/chair would be nice, just 2 small hooks for towels/clothing. There are several bathhouses around the campground, just used one, so can't speak about the others. The new owners are very friendly and helpful. We would return.

Great little campground, rate reflects the average of Passport America + 1 night regular rate. Owners are hard working and will do anything to help you. Sites are on levels, my site was long (pull thru) and level. Easy hookups, well placed, and in good working order. The Wi-Fi was down, the server CO was called right away and had it back up very quickly. We did not use the campground showers. Do not rely on your GPS to locate this campground, use their directions. I'm looking forward to a return visit.

Rate is Passport America for a pull through, in this motel/mobile home/campground. On the positive side; owners were friendly and helpful, site long enough to keep toad connected, that's about it. Our site sloped down, could not get level even with use of blocks, and our water connection was on the wrong side (shared-side by side). We got as close to level as we could, and didn't need w/s as we were only overnighting. Free Wi-Fi was offered, but we had a good Verizon signal and used our air card. Cable is extra. I did not see any bathhouses, not sure there are any. I didn't see rr tracks, but they must be nearby as we heard several freight trains throughout the night. We probably will look for another spot to overnight the next time.

We stayed in the adult section, The Bluffs. It is a great setting, excellent facilities, and all the hookups were in perfect working order. Most of the sites are seasonal, with a few "transient" sites available. Sites are a good size, some wooded, and a few open sites. The seasonals and park management are the friendliest, most helpful people we have encountered!!! The only complaints; Don't follow the check-in signs if you are going to The Bluffs - signs are for Danforth Bay, and the long entrance road to The Bluffs is rough in spots - washboard, ruts, and potholes- otherwise, this park rates a 10.

What a view!!! We were in site #31-pull in overlooking the water. We spent the week watching sailboats, lobsterman, and admiring the full moon over the bay. This is a small, well run campground. The sites are not uniform in size, a bit of an odd layout, but each site has a water view. 30 amp and water only, no sewer. (Not sure if 50 amp is available at other sites.) Weekly customers get free pump outs on Mon/Th, daily guests can use the dump or pay for honey wagon service. The bath house is clean, but only 1 shower, but no charge. Laundry was small, 2 machines, but OK. Remember, it's a small cg-45 sites. There is a playground for the kids, and beach access, but no pool. Free WiFi, but we used our Verizon air card, we had good cell/Internet service. Cable selection was good. The owners and work campers make every effort to keep the grounds manicured (lots of rain this season). They are real nice folks, making our stay memorable. We would return.

I agree with previous reviews. This campground offers something for everyone; shaded woods or large open pull throughs. Some nice touches-each site has a trash can, daily newspaper delivered every morning, and hookups in good working order. The shuttle is $1, sure beats the $15 parking fee in town. Great service for the campers, way to go Shore Hills. To nit-pick a bit, it'll cost you to shower. It seems to me with the rate they charge, a shower should be included. There is no pool, but there is beach access-watch the tides. There is a playground for the kids, and a dog play area. Not sure about wi-fi (don't think it was offered)-we used our Verizon aircard, good signal. We stayed one week, GS discount. We would come back again.

Lots to like at Wild Duck, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet in a natural setting. I had a pull thru site that was one of the larger ones, lots of space between sites. There are some that are much tighter. There are trash cans placed in several locations, emptied regularly. Showers are clean, but the stalls are pretty small. There is lots to do in the area, or just relax at Wild Duck and listen to the quiet.

This is a gem of a campground, very well maintained and super friendly/helpful staff. The roads are easily navigated, our site was a pull thru. There are some back ins, and some are shaded, ours was more open, excellent for satellite reception. There were plenty of space between sites, didn't feel all closed in by neighbors. They have a large dog walk area. They do have free cable with a large selection of channels. There is nothing for kids, no playground or pool. I did see some youngsters riding bikes, so I don't think the campground is age restricted. If you are going to be in the Bangor area, this is the best campground option, it's great. We camped here in a motor home, and the rate is based on Passport America.

Lots to like about this campground: reasonable rates, large sites, and location. Cash only, stay 6 nights get 7th free! Sites are large, but not a lot of fhups to pick from, but we found a nice site in the C loop. If you are a tenter- this is the campground for you, lots of nice spots to pick from. As far as location, some sites with water views (not many), but the big plus is the campground is on the shuttle bus route. A MUST way to travel, and it is free. Now, the what not to like: many sites are not level, free wifi is a joke-the only way I actually got online was at 5AM, never during the day or evening. The showers were $.25 for 5 minutes (not bad, but remember your quarters). I didn't mind their check in, drive around and pick your spot, but they don't want you to unhook near the office. We have a large motorhome w/tow, we prefer to unhook before we enter an unfamiliar campground-you never know, so we unhooked anyway. Just got a "glare" from the staff, oh well. Overall, a very good location to visit Acadia and Bar Harbor.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay, wished it could have been longer so we could enjoy the pool and golf. Check in was quick, PA rate reflected in our nightly. A couple of minor complaints; the site # post is facing the wrong way so you can't see it as you approach. Needed to get out of coach and walk to the post to find our correct site, they need to turn the signs around. The roads are clearly marked, but the sites are not and they are in a random type layout. Confusing. Next complaint is the shower room doors. The showers are private, but the door does not fit properly so that it won't lock. Anyone could walk in, and the shower curtains are clear!!! Bad combo there. Wifi worked just fine, there is no cable, we had a good verizon signal. The grounds are well maintained, overall, a great place to camp.

This is a small "mom and pop" park, great setting with some quirks. The owner takes you to your site in his golf cart so you can see the layout, then you go back to your RV and drive to your site. It would be easier if he just escorted you. They charge extra for 50 amp and cable, and the Wi-Fi did not work at our site. We could not get a Verizon signal in the CG, but while touring in Bennington we had a strong signal. The showers were clean, but the water is on a timer that is located outside your stall. Odd. Overall, the CG is well maintained, pretty little pond, and in a good location to explore southern Vermont. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our 1 week stay here. The owners are wonderful, they are friendly and have lots of local knowledge. We had a pull thru site, lots of room, parked on dirt/gravel with grass between sites. Some sites have a slight back to front slope, nothing leveling jacks can't fix, though. Cable TV has lots of channels, free (2 hrs per day)wifi. We had a strong verizon signal. CG location is great for visiting the sights of New Hampshire.

The setting and location near I 95 is perfect. Our assigned site was less than perfect, it was a severe downslope. So much so, that we could not get level, even putting blocks under our jacks. Since we were just overnighting, we made do. The campground is well maintained, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. I did not care for the bath house, gray cement floor and a lack of privacy-shower curtain barely wide enough. The WiFi is free, and we had a strong signal. There is no cable, but a few over air channels. Our Verizon cell had a very poor signal. The pond is very nice, pretty setting. We would return, but next time we will insist on a level site.

We are traveling I 95, overnight stop. We asked for a pull through with a clear sky for sat signal. We were accommodated, good level pull through, connections well placed. CG host escorts to site. There are some seedy looking long term trailers, but for an overnight, it is convenient and reasonably priced. There is free WiFi, no cable. Verizon cell has a strong signal. Did not use the shower/bath area. Our cg cost reflects a GS discount. We would return for an I 95 travel overnight.

We arrived after several days of rain, and the sites were pretty flooded. We were only overnighting, so just hooked up to electric and cable, had to stand in about 6" of water to do so. Site was a good size and pretty level, but there were sections of the interior gravel roads that were very flooded making cg travel difficult. Cable worked fine, but no NBC, odd. We did not have a strong verizon signal, but good enough for aircard and cell. Pricey, but would use again traveling I 95.

We needed to overnight in the area for rv service in the morning. Campgroud is about a mile from the service center. Our pullthru site is in the front by the road, lots of traffic, but we ran the ac and filtered out most of the noise. The showers were clean, but far from nice. Fixtures are old, flimsy curtains do not provide much privacy. We arrived on a Sunday, the office isn't open on Sundays, seems strange as cg's are a 7 day a week business. The cg host met us, and led us to our site. Overall, I would say it is overpriced and I don't think we would return. Too much money for too little. We camped here in a motorhome.

I requested a pull thru site- where I could keep the toad connected. What a joke!! The site they assigned me is located right beyond a very sharp curve, and is extremely narrow. I had to disconnect toad, and even with that I could not get in this site w/out hitting either my neighbors slide or the wood support of the electrical pedestal. Being a good neighbor, I took out the wood, lost some paint on the bottom of one of my bays. The worker in the office must have NEVER driven a mh, to think a 40'er would fit. The site is narrow and not level, the cg roads are narrow. Convenient from I 10, but I will never stay here again.

Rate estimated from monthly rate, which is all inclusive (including electric). We arrived in the midst of strong storms, the staff processed us quickly, we were escorted and guided into our back in site, all before the storms hit. The campground is easy for big rigs with wide paved roads. There are pull throughs available. Hookups are in a convenient layout. There are lots of cable TV channels, free Wi-Fi, good Verizon signal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots to do in the area. Great campground, will definitely return.

This is our first stay here, and there is a lot to like. The sites are large, lots of shade, nice pool and clubhouse area, and the campground's location. That said, those trees providing shade also make backing in to sites a challenge, and they are messy. The grounds crew does a lot of raking. They spray/fog every other night, but the noseeums are still present and biting. The free secure wifi is not the fastest, but adequate for email and general surfing. There are several laundry locations, machines in good working order and for $2.25 your laundry is washed and dried. They have a designated pet bedding washer. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are lots of snowbirds here. There are only a few permanent type trailers, and most sites are nicely maintained. We will return next year. We camped here in a motorhome.

This is our second stay here, great park. The staff is friendly and helpful, excellent service. The amenities are in good working order and well placed for ease of hooking up. Cable TV w/72 channels, and strong free wi-fi. The concrete pads are level, good space between sites. Convenient location between I95 and the turnpike, but no substantial road noise. There are no park models, no tents, but everything from mh to pop ups are welcome.

This is one of the few year around campgrounds in the area. We stay here to be near family for the winter holidays, the rate posted is based on the winter monthly rate. The sites are level gravel, some with concrete slab for table/chairs, etc. There are lots of trees, but room for large rigs and slides. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small pond for fishing and home to some ducks. Wild turkeys wander through almost every day. Close to I 295, easy on/off.

Very convenient to I 95. Good for our overnight stop. Nice setting with lake. We had a pull thru and did not have to disconnect the toad. Sites are dirt/grass, fairly level. Staff was friendly and welcoming, offered local tip to avoid I95 construction backups. Showers/rest rooms are private, accessed with provided security code. Rate reflects SKP discount.
